I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
